Honeysuckle HQ is the final piece in the redevelopment of Newcastle’s Honeysuckle foreshore. The site is divided by the newly constructed Honeysuckle Drive to create two distinct parcels, Honeysuckle Quays and Honeysuckle Quarter.

Honeysuckle Quarter

Honeysuckle Quarter is strategically positioned to support Newcastle’s emerging CBD on the southern side of Honeysuckle Drive, at the Hannell Street intersection. With 1.14 ha* of commercial-zoned land, Honeysuckle Quarter may have up to 90m high buildings and approximately 91,200sqm of potential gross floor area.

To help communicate the project vision and objectives, the Chief Executive of Placemaking NSW will conduct information sessions. The format of these sessions will be developed in response to demand and potential COVID restrictions. Proponents wishing to participate in these sessions will need to notify Colliers International by 8 October 2021.

1. An opportunity to provide feedback informing the the upcoming CFP
2. Advance notice to prepare quality CFP responses

HCCDC is seeking ROI's from proponents that have suitable experience and capacity to masterplan and deliver Honeysuckle HQ as a quality place-based outcome that reflects the site's unique location and scale in the emerging waterfront CBD.
